Education and Career

George is a 2007 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School graduating with honors as well as playing Middle Linebacker starting his Freshman year in high school and received a ring for being on the 5A -State Football Championship Team

After graduating from high school, he received a Football Scholarship to play Middle Linebacker for Abilene Christian College, but quickly decided that playing college football was not what he wanted to do…..”Mom and Dad, I’m not sure what God has planned for me in the future, but I already know it’s not football”. While maintaining grades and staying on the Dean’s List at ACU, he put the football down to stay focused on academics, never looking back or regretting his decision to stop playing  football…..but before leaving Abilene Christian to attend  UT Austin, he received a NCAA Championship ring from ACU as a Linebacker on the team.

George is a 2012 graduate from the University of Texas in Austin with a BS in Business and Economics and works as an Accounting Manager for Insight Global,  one the largest IT Staffing Firms in America.

Although the business world is what he does now, he still has a passion for playing drums and still enjoys his drum sticks -  his dad has him to play with Faber and Friends Band every chance he gets when he’s at home.
